Wow, this book is intense. I don't know if I want any surgery preformed on me in this life time. I love the connection that the writer has with the reader. He is honest and very brave in giving the details to a real life story of a surgeon. Some parts just made me want to cringe and forget really what they do in some surgeries. I usually am visiting the operation room with frequency, and knowing what i know now all i want to do is just laugh and sigh away the tears that were shed in the hospital. I did however notice all the things we have been learning were intertwined in this book. By this i mean that the grammar, and different styles of writing were apparent in this book.
